Looking for some exciting things to do around Albuquerque this weekend? Galles Chevrolet has some suggestions!

10th Annual Day of the Tread (10/23 @ 7AM, Civic Plaza) – Bring the whole gang to this family-oriented, Halloween themed charity event, where you can bike, run, or walk to the finish line. There will be music, entertainment, and a costume contest as well!

Disney’s The Lion King (Through 10/30, Friday @ 8PM, Saturday @ 2PM & 8PM, Sunday @ 1PM & 6:30PM, Popejoy Hall at UNM) – Don’t miss one of the last weekends to see the beloved musical right here in New Mexico! Over 75 million people around the world have experienced this incredible show, and as the winner of six Tony Awards® including Best Musical, it’s easy to see why.

Rail Yard’s Market (Through 10/30, Sunday 10AM – 2 PM, Blacksmith Shop at the Albuquerque Rail Yard) – This is the second to last weekend to enjoy food, art, music, and community and support local artists, growers, and musicians! Bring the whole family.

History & Ghost Tours of Old Town (Ghost Tours Nightly @ 8PM, History Tours Daily, Plaza Don Luis) – Albuquerque is a 300 year old city, so there are bound to be some spooky haunts around town! Leave the kids at home for the ghost tour, as it is recommended for ages 13 and up, but the history tours are family friendly!
