Are your headlights dying, or just dirty?
You might notice that your headlights aren’t as bright as they once were…. Unfortunately, the time you’re most likely to notice this is when you’re driving at night and observe that you can’t really see the road ahead of you as well as you could before. This is a serious problem – you’re at a higher risk of getting into an accident if you can’t see properly! So, it’s time to take a look at those lights and figure out if they’re dying or if they’re just dirty.
First of all, give them a good wipe-down with a clean cloth and some cleaning solution. This might be all your headlights needed! If they’re still dim, or if you see that the plastic lens is yellowed and scratched, there are options you can explore to clean them up and get them bright again.
